Farmer Avery

Today is Farm day at school for Avery- I just discovered this on Tuesday afternoon or we would've saved her overalls for today! But we scrounged around and found her a cute little ensemble for the day. I am afraid she looks more like a cowgirl than a farmer but Brett and I talked this morning and agreed since she was a "city kid" just about anything goes for Farm Day! Grandma Becky came over this morning to spend a few minutes with Avery and take her to school since I had to go to the Doctor- Avery was excited to see her and really excited to eat the donuts Grandma brought along- THANKS GRANDMA!!! My appointment was extremely uneventful- I am having no contractions as of yet so the Dr. decided not to even check for progress this week, which was fine by me. She did do a sonogram (she does them at every visit) and she is estimating this baby girl to be about 6 lbs and 2 oz...which is almost a 1/2 pound up from last Thursday! Dr. Summers will be out of town next Thursday-Sunday SO I go see her on Wednesday and then we pray that there is nothing exciting until the next week- which should be the case!

Avery before school on Tuesday- should've saved the overalls but you know how girls are when they get new clothes- Avery wanted to wear them immediately!

I'm not sure she was completely awake yet, we got an early start since I had to leave but here is Farmer Avery almost ready to go!

And starting to perk up- there is the happy girl :-)!

She told me yesterday that she NEEDED this hat and promised that she WOULD wear it today. I bet that will last a long time, don't you think?

She makes such a pretty farmer! I just got caught up on your most recent posts and I loved the flashback pictures of Avery - I remember that 1st picture and it makes me realize how FAST time goes and how they grow so much in the first few years!!!!

So is such a pretty little girl. I can't believe how long her hair is and how much she has changed in one year. And that you've been gone a whole year. Miss you!! Can't wait to hear the big news.
