Tulsa or BUST

Talk about being outnumbered...poor Brett was the only guy in a house of 7 girls this week! Mandy B. and Brynn brought their girls to T-town for a visit this week and we had SUCH fun! It was really good to see my friends and to show them our "new" home and it was so cute to see all of our girls together. Of course, it wasn't the "vacation" experience that our husbands predicted- I mean there were 4 kids under the age of 3 here- but I am ridiculously thankful and glad that I have the kind of friends who make the trip anyway!!! And to be honest- all of the girls did really well, all things considered. We did some swimming, playing outside, girl talking and Mandy and I even were able to squeeze in a glass of wine or 2 (Brynn joined us in spirit but decided to wait for her wine since baby #2 is due in just under FOUR weeks!) It was actually quite comical- at 6:30 each morning we were all up and ready to party...or at least the girls were! My my how times change.

Friends, thank you for coming to visit. We LOVED having you here and we would love to have you back anytime! We hope the return trip is easier to navigate AND that those precious girls do some serious sleeping for you! Hopefully we'll be in Texas to see you in a couple of months! (Afterall there is a new Hodder to meet!)
