The Tradition Continues

This was our 2nd annual trip to the Tulsa State Fair with the the Dunhams. We had MUCH fun again. We did what you do at the fair- ate junky food, waited in long lines for "scary" rides, watched some weird people, and visited the petting zoo. We even saw baby pigs who were about 2 hours old! The big kids were able to do a little bit more than last year, Macie Drue wanted to walk (by herself, of course!) and Anna was quite content in the stroller watching everything going on! All 4 of the kids were precious the whole night and we really enjoyed ourselves. We love this tradition and look forward to many to come.

Corn dogs all around

Trying hard to be patient

Almost their turn!Avery going on the slide- all by herself!

Anna LOVING life in the stroller

Avery and Maddox on one of many rides

This was their scariest endeavor- a roller coaster they technically weren't tall enough to ride but did anyway. A bit scary for the moms...but they didn't seem to mind! Also, this morning my parents brought my Grandma to Tulsa so she could fly from here back to Arizona. They stopped by here for a visit and Anna was able to meet her Grandma Great for the first time.Anna also got to play with Addie- her favorite toy. Addie is a really good sport about the whole thing...this is them playing London Bridges :-)Where did my friend go????

Avery decided on the spur of the moment to go home with my parents for the weekend. The house is a bit quiet without her...we are missing her already! However, I am sure once she gets over the sad that mom isn't here thing, she will have MUCH fun with Bob and Gigi. Brett & I are looking forward to some Anna time AND some football. I know the Bears won't beat the Sooners but at least we can watch them on TV. Sic 'Em Bears....

Anna is so cute. Enjoy the time with just her. When does Avery come home?
I am ready for some football today too, but I can't imagine we'll get to watch much of the Tech game since all our kids are here. Can we put them on a flight for Tulsa?
