Let the Halloween festivities begin

Well we knew it was going to be a full and festive week and the fun really began yesterday! Avery & I were in charge of the snacks and stories for her class today so we started our day at Wal-Mart buying the ingredients for Halloween trail mix and then had to make a mad dash to the library to get the book that inspired her Halloween costume, Belinda the Ballerina. We had MUCH fun putting the mix together- Avery was a GREAT helper!! :) I didn't get any pics but it sure was FUN!!! Last night we tried to do some pumpkin carving- Avery was VERY uninterested in helping. The "inside" of the pumpkin scared her so Brett and I did ours and just let Avery off the hook. This morning Avery had trick or treating and a party at school so we had to get her all in costume before she left. She had SUCH a fun day...here are a few pics.

I did some no fun maternity clothes shopping and then rushed back to pick Avery up at 1:30. She was on a SUGAR HIGH! She was so hyper and happy! She was also out of her costume, she had enough of the girly ballerina thing and she needed SNACKS. SO she had a tootsie roll on the way home and somehow found her way into a bag of trail mix before I knew it. she was a mess but the sugar crash followed and she is still asleep! Hope that tomorrow is a Happy Halloween for everyone, can't wait to see your pictures!
