It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Our week after Thanksgiving was a good one. We managed to get both of our trees up before Brett had to leave town. Most of you know that I am a FREAK about Christmas decorating, I LOVE it....and I think Avery has inherited my spirit. She had much fun putting her ornaments on the tree. Brett left for Sabine Pass, LA or as Avery called it, "Bean Pass" on Monday and my mom, aka Gigi, came to the rescue! She was here all week cleaning, doing laundry, helping with Avery and we did sneak in a few Christmas shopping outings...enough that I am just about finished! We also bought Avery some Christmas PJ's....and she's such a little girl. I held up a couple of options for her and of course she picked the one I didn't want and when I tried to put it back and get the ones I wanted she wasn't amused, so she ended up with both pairs. The ones she wanted she refers to as her Ho ho PJ's and they even came with a hat- she looks like an elf. She is usually not a hat person but she didn't want to take this one off, even at bedtime!
On Thursday I had an appointment with Dr. Summers and she THINKS that my little placenta previa issue is resolved. She is sending me to a specialist next week for confirmation so for now I'm still on my "limited activity" regimen but we are hopeful that that will change in the next couple of weeks! ALTHOUGH...I must say I am getting quite used to having people help me and having people TELL me that I NEED to sit down so they'll do the dishes! It will be a HUGE burden lifted and an answer to prayer if this other doctors concurs with mine and we know that we have one more complication behind us!
Avery had her first ever Christmas program at church tonight. It was super cute and really fun, at least for me. Brett is trying to figure out if we have the proper software/hardware to transfer the video from the camera to our computer but for now at least I have a couple of cute pics. She knew EVERY word to the songs but she didn't sing much....apparently that was pretty common for all the 2 year-olds throughout the rehearsals and performance but MAN they looked cute up there. I really can't believe she's getting so old!

Ashley,

Funny, I don't see any pictures of you on the blog...

Of course you probably have your Christmas cards in the mail so I will get to see a pic soon. :)
