We had another fun week! My mom came in this week to spend some time with us before the baby gets here. We had a GREAT week! We got lots done at our house plus did a little shopping and even made it to the park one day. Avery really enjoyed her time with gigi and we were quite sad on Thursday when it was time for her to head back to Arkansas. BUT we look forward to her return SOON when this baby girl arrives! I also had my 37 week check up on Wednesday this week. Not much progress was made but the Dr. was still encouraged enough to say she thinks we'll be okay to induce on the 19th. I go back to see her again on Wednesday so we should know for sure what the schedule looks like then. I was also worried that the baby wasn't moving enough so the Dr. hooked me up to the monitors. Turns out the problem isn't with the baby but with the baby's mom not drinking enough water....who's surprised? So once again I'm trying desperately to force down water!
This afternoon we had a fun "date night" with Maddox and Jenny. Avery LOVES Maddox!! We went to see a movie- a first for Avery! I was actually QUITE surprised and impressed with how she did considering she's not one to sit still. This was Maddox's 3rd movie adventure, and as usual he was great! He didn't want to sit but he still watched. I think the movie was a bit over their heads (VeggieTales) but they had fun and seemed to enjoy it. Avery even sat in both Jenny's lap AND mine...or what's left of it! Of course, the arcade at the movie theater was also very exciting- even with not a single quarter spent!
