One week has passed

I can't believe it but its true- Anna is already 8 days old! We've actually had a really good first week. Of course, Brett was home until Tuesday and my mom is still here so that may be why I am doing so great...next week's post may have quite a different tune. BUT Anna is a precious baby and her big sis is really doing a good job. I am tired- but that's to be expected, other than that I feel good and I feel BLESSED! I can't wait for everyone to meet Anna and to see these 2 sweet Krieg girls together! In the meantime, I'll post as often as I can. While I am on the subject of week one I just have to say a couple of things...

First to my parents- THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Thanks to my amazing dad for being here, for your willingness to drive and most importantly for sharing mom with us for so long. And to my mother- holy cow, I don't even know where to start. Thanks for EVERYTHING- I have NO idea how I would've survived this week without you.

And to my in laws- THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! We SO appreciate everything you guys have done and especially the attention you have paid to Avery- it is so special to her AND to the rest of our family!

Brett, Grandpa Krieg and the girls

And to our amazing group of friends- thanks for the gifts, the cards, the phone calls, the emails, and to my AMAZING Tulsa friends- thanks for visiting!; we sure feel loved!

Jill (only 8 more weeks until her next arrives!), Ella and Anna

Anna gets love from a sweet Miss Jenny

We are sure Anna and Macie Drue will be best of friends just like their older siblings!

AND last but not least- THANKS to Brett & Avery for being so flexible during this crazy transitional time!

Avery and Anna share a moment in mom's bed...a place that just not enough time was spent this week!Avery blowing out candles...not sure why, just because she likes to

Avery washing off the cake afterwards!

And the last question of the night- I'm very curious...who do you think Anna looks like? We have heard a little bit of everything- but have heard several times that she looks like my brother. I saw it for the first time in this pic, what do you think?

Ashley, she is PERFECT! So beautiful...and I am SO glad things are going well. What a blessing! I have no clue yet who she looks like. Avery had a lot of Brett's features at first, but as she got older I saw more and more of you in her. It will be fun to see what happens with Anna!

2 darling girls! What more could you ask for? (besides sleep...) I think she looks like different people in different pictures. I see your brother in the last one, and Brett's dad in the first picture. She might be a good combo of everyone!
