Brett & Avery had date night last night. It was cute...really cute. They went to McDonald's for dinner (bet you'll never guess who picked) and then to the Veggie Tales live show, "God Made Me Special." Avery has been talking about this for weeks and every time we drove past the sign for the show she reminded me that she and DAD were going- not me. I had to stay home and babysit for Anna. They had so much fun and I think it was good for all of us! The show was a bit longer than my 3 year old (and most others as well!) would've preferred, but she hung in there and she enjoyed the show. She was SO excited when she walked in the door to tell me all about it. 
Also, while they were there, Brett and Avery decided to "adopt" (or sponsor) a little girl in India. Brett has been wanting to do something like this for a while and this was a good opportunity. Avery was excited! She was also was so concerned about getting home so that she could feed the little girl dinner, so she didn't get a tummy ache. We had some explaining to do about what our role actually is- but what fun to see your child excited about helping others.

I am so sorry Anna is sick! That is not fun at all!! Will be praying for a quick recovery! Had a BLAST with you last weekend. Come again soon!!!
We sponsor a child in Hondorous. Ella is always asking me, "Now where does our brother, Jose live?" It's really cute. We let her color pics and pick out stickers to send to him.

I just realized that when Is set my blog to a private setting, I didn't invite you to view it because I didn't have your email! But anyway, I took it off the private setting because too many people were having trouble logging in. Problem solved!
How sweet for Avery and Daddy to have a date! Eddie and I have a date set to go to the toy store (again, who do you think chose the location?). They love that one on one time, especially once a little sibling has entered the picture.
I am bummed I didn't get to see you this past weekend, but maybe next time!
We will pray for Anna to feel better soon. :)
