SNOW Day!

Well I'm on a roll- I've posted more in the last week than probably in the last month combined but its been a good week, what can I say? Yesterday we had SNOW! It snowed off and on during the day and at times, it was coming down pretty hard with big beautiful snow flakes! When I picked Avery up from school she was pretty excited to see that it was snowing and walked to the car with her tongue out trying to catch one- not sure if she was successful or not but she sure looked cute trying! Before school I made the mistake of telling her that if we had enough snow on the ground that she could make a snowman so of course before we ever got home she started asking if we could go outside. This mom is still overcoming the worst sinus infection I've had in recent memory and the thought of standing in the freezing cold snow was less than appealing so I guilted Brett into coming home a tad bit early to help construct the snowman. I bundled Avery up- my Aunt had sent this little snowsuit when Avery was born and living in Dallas, I had never used it...BUT I pulled it out yesterday! Brett said she was a lot like Ralphie in the Christmas story and that whenever she fell he had to help her up, but SHE WAS WARM! She helped some with the snowman- mostly giving orders such as she only wanted it to be 2 snowballs high, not 3...after that she was on to other things. (My camera is the most unpredictable little guy EVER so I never know if its going to work or not- yesterday it did not. BUT i took pictures anyway and just did the best I could to make them work. )

Ahh..the snowman are finished so even though its FREEZING and DARK...AVery needed a little time in her playhouse and couple of quick trips down the slide.
