Summer Loves

I sat down to post just a quick couple of pics BUT I couldn't resist making sure that I say I am completely head over heels in love with my girls. My Bible study this summer is on the Psalms of Ascent and yesterday's lesson discussed children being a gift from God. I know we ALL know that but man did my heart SING when God reminded me of the unbelievable blessing HE has "loaned" me through my girls. I just had to share..... SO, anyway on to some Krieg activities- as we were leaving for church on Sunday morning, Brett pointed out that all of us were in blue. I guess it must just be the mood I'm in- but I notice that the girls end up in the same color, unintentionally, rather often!
Avery finished up swim lessons last week. I am not sure how much she learned but I do know that combined with what she already knew, she can now jump in and swim a little bit at least. She's getting there!

Avery attended her first baby shower on Sunday afternoon. A sweet friend in her class, Sam, will be a big sis any day now! Jessie is on bed rest and has been for a couple of weeks so the shower moved to their house. It was a fun diaper shower- lots of cool gifts and ideas...and of course you know that Avery LOVED the cake!

Yesterday afternoon we took a late afternoon swim with Jenny and her kiddos. They had much fun! the neighborhood pool at Jenny's has a baby pool so it was easier on all of us...Anna really enjoyed herself! I tried to get a good pic of her in her new swimsuit but I didn't and the big kids were way too busy to have their pictures made, but here are a couple of shots anyway.
